Libby, Libby, Libby

another first for libby! on friday, january 25th, tia mel and i took her into wild child for her first trim! her hair was getting a bit straggly so we figured it was about time. let's just say she wasn't a big fan! the tears started almost immediately and i had to hold her hands the whole time. here she is (note the cape didn't last very long!):

libby is also very close to walking! she loves to push her little 'scooter' walker and walk all around the furniture and everything else. she's attempted going up the stairs a couple times (thanks to big brother cruz showing her the way) and has even tumbled down the top couple stairs to the landing a time or two (and usually ends up laughing!). our little girl is pretty fearless and will attempt almost anything cruz does. we're going to have to keep our eyes on her!

walking makes a girl tired!

tomorrow our baby girl turns 1! i can't believe how fast this year has flown by. she has brought so much joy to our family and we can't imagine life without her. happy birthday princess! we love you!
