28 Weeks & Counting....

thought i would post a couple pics of me pregnant...a couple people have asked to see what i look like and i also realized that i've only seen like one picture of my own mom pregnant with me and i've always wished i could see more! :) these are just a few quick pics i had heath snap this morning before work. cruz got jealous that he wasn't the one being photographed so we had to get him in one, too.

here i am at 28 weeks:

tomorrow morning i go for my 28 week appointment at which they'll do my glucose test and also recheck my iron levels. (i was pretty low and considered anemic and have been on an iron supplement since about week 12). i can't believe how fast the time is flying by! little miss reedy will be here in less than 3 months! time to get serious about moving cruz into his new, bigger room and getting her room ready.

happy thanksgiving to everyone! our family certainly has much to be thankful for this year.

xoxoxo,

A Halloween to Forget?

so we were all excited for cruz's first halloween this year...we got him a lion costume and he would even say 'rarrr' when he was wearing it. he got a small idea of what trick-or-treating was like when we took him to primrose's "trick-or-treat street" the thursday night before halloween. (he actually got his picture taken while we were there and was in the woodbury bulletin newspaper!) on halloween he got to take his costume to school for his class party and that night we planned that heath would take him to a few houses in the neighborhood while i stayed home to hand out candy. seemed like a good plan, right? unfortunately plans changed when i got a phone call from primrose at 4:30 saying that cruz had a fever of 101. boo! (no pun intended!) the poor little guy was a snotty mess and you could tell he didn't feel good at all. i thought we should still put his costume on so i could at least get a few pictures of him in it...poor thing!

finally, a smile...
