Libby is Four Months!

libby is now four months old! she is such a little sweetheart and i am loving having a little girl in our family. she's a great little sister and cruz already loves her so much and is very protective of her at school. both kids go in to the doctor at the end of the month so i will post her stats then. she is growing and changing more and more every day.

Fun With Friends

on saturday, may 12th, we celebrated our friend alexa's 1st birthday at her house. here are some fun photos from a great day!

it was so much fun watching all the kids interact and play together! cruz was the man of the hour amongst the four girls. hmmm, could be trouble in the future! :)

little miss libby is 3 months!

little miss libby is officially 3 months old! she now weighs about 12 pounds and is growing and changing more and more every day. she is loving 'school' at primrose and is enjoying her new friends. she is a beautiful baby sister and we all love her so much!

we are blessed!

it's true! heath turned the big 4-0 on saturday. we had a pretty low-key day with the kids, but did get to go out for dinner with nate & pam at shanghai bistro in stillwater to celebrate. thanks tia mel for babysitting! daddy & his kids:

Mommy's Back to Work!

libby is officially 12 weeks old today and that means mommy is back to work! time certainly does fly by when you're having fun, but i admit i was kind of ready to get back into the adult world. libby had a couple practice sessions at primrose last week and she also went all day yesterday which gave me a special day all to myself! i LOVE my kiddos, but it was definitely peaceful and enjoyable having a day to myself after a long, grey weekend when we were all trapped in the house. cruz also started in a new room this week (early preschool one), so it's been a transition week for all of us. we all miss his awesome teachers from the older toddler room, but i'm sure we'll come to love his new ones as well. here are a couple pics from this morning...it was also picture day for both of them, so they're all dressed up (nothing like adding that on to an already hectic & stressful 'first day' morning!):
